Chilli Paneer

What will you need:
  1. 250 gms Paneer
  2. 2 Onions (Spring Onions if available)
  3. 1 Green Chilli
  4. 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  5. 1 Capsicum
  6. 1 tbsp Soya sauce
  7. 1 tsp Chilli sauce
  8. 2 tsp Tomato ketchup
  9. 1 tbsp Oil
  10. 2 tbsp Cornflour
  11. 2 tsp Maida
  12. Pepper Powder
  13. Salt to taste
How to make it:
  • In a bowl mix cornflour, ½ tsp ginger garlic paste, salt, pepper powder with small amount of water.
  • Cut paneer into cubes and mix it well with the above. Sprinkle maida over it and mix well. Allow it to marinate for 30 minutes.
  • Now, shallow fry the paneer on all sides till golden brown, drain and keep it aside.
  • Heat a tbsp of oil in a pan, add onion, green chilli and saute till onions turn golden brown.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and saute for a few more minutes.
  • Add capsicum, soya sauce, chilli sauce, tomato ketchup, salt and fry on high flame, stirring continuously. The capsicum should be crispy, so do not overcook them.
  • Lower the flame, add the fried paneer, mix well and cook for a few more minutes till the paneer is well coated with the sauces. Garnish with finely chopped spring onion greens.
